PRIVACY NOTICE FOR THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA OF KAPIKAYA FESTIVAL PARTICIPANTS

In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law"), your personal data may be processed within the scope described below by Bafra Municipality Presidency ("Municipality"), which is the data controller.
a) Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your collected personal data may be processed by the Municipality for the purposes of managing events and organizations organized by the Municipality, carrying out projects, visualizing and promoting activities to the public, providing information, and increasing awareness, within the scope of the purposes ("Purposes") stated in Article 5 of the Law, including the conditions for processing personal data.
b) To Whom and for What Purposes Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your collected personal data may be transferred to our suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and legally authorized private individuals in accordance with the rules regarding the transfer of personal data specified in Article 8 of the Law within the scope of the Purposes stated above, and may be published on the Municipality's social media accounts and other communication channels.
Your personal data processed in Kapıkaya Festival membership procedures are your Turkish identification number, name-surname, mobile phone number, date of birth, and email address.
c) Method of Personal Data Collection and Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected in physical or electronic media, through methods such as email, photography, or video shooting, based on the conditions for processing personal data stated in Article 5 of the Law, within the scope of organizing events and other activities by the Municipality and promoting them to the public.
Your personal data is collected and processed by the Municipality based on the following purposes and legal grounds, without harming the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, and if the data processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller:
- Management of events and organizations organized by the Municipality within Kapıkaya Festival.
If you have given your explicit consent:
- Publication of events and organizations organized within Kapıkaya Festival by the Municipality on its printed or visual media platforms, for the purpose of carrying out projects, visualizing activities, providing information, and increasing awareness.
d) Rights of the Data Subject as Stated in Article 11 of the Law
As the data subject, we would like to inform you that you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- To request information if your personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, whether domestically or internationally,
- To request the rectification of your personal data in case of incomplete or inaccurate processing and, within this scope, to request notification of the transactions made to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data in case the reasons requiring their processing cease to exist, despite being processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant laws, and within this scope, to request notification of the transactions made to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, in case your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- To demand compensation in case you incur damages due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

You can submit your applications regarding the above-mentioned rights by filling out the Data Subject Application Form, which you can access at https://www.bafra.bel.tr/. Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within a maximum of thirty days; however, if the process requires an additional cost, you may be charged a fee according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
